Scoop the Loop Is Back!
A Sesquicentennial Kick-Off Meal will be held Friday, July 18 in Anita’s Bandshell Park starting at 6:00 pm.
Join us in the historic Anita Bandshell Park for food, games, and music in the bandshell featuring the talents of Jason Erickson-Reed. There will be a Scoop The Loop with vintage cars in addition to games for the kids.
A meal of pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, watermelon, and pasta salad will be served for a free will donation. Proceeds raised will go towards the kids zone at the Anita Sesquicentennial in August.
Brought to you by the Anita Town & Country in partnership with the Anita Sesquicentennial Committee.
Please bring your Centennial Doll to the Library
The doll stands are done and located at the Anita Public Library. Dave Christensen made them and donated them. Thanks Dave and Mona! The dolls pictured are from Judy Neighbors and Teresa Nelson.
If you have a centennial doll you would like to display, please drop her off at the library.
They will be displayed at the library until the celebration, when they will be moved to the Methodist Church for the doll/quilt show.
Please include information about who won the doll and who dressed it, if possible.
